Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Officer to oversee the daily operations of our peanut processing and production activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and optimizing resources. As a key part of the operations team, the Production Officer will play a vital role in ensuring that our Micro-Factory Model delivers high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and the aspirations of our community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all production equipment is properly maintained and operating at optimal levels.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to ensure all products meet MAMLO Foods’ quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Resource Optimization:
- Manage inventory of raw materials and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of resources.
- Optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
- Team Leadership:
- Train and supervise production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge required for their roles.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the production process.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in food production or manufacturing, preferably in the peanut or snack industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and resource management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
